Who Owns Your Intellectual Property?
Who owns the intellectual property used by your company? Are you sure? If you used a third party developer or one of the founders of your company developed the intellectual property before incorporating your company but didn’t assign his or her intellectual property rights you may not control your intellectual property. This problem is easily avoided by requiring developers and anyone else contributing to research and development to assign existing and future intellectual property rights to your company.
